On this tour, I saw a Great Apollo butterfly (rare) and a Swallowtail butterfly, also relatively rare. Butterfly lovers should therefore keep an eye out in the western part of the tour.

In Duderstadt, an update unfortunately prevented the recording, which I didn't notice. The way back went via Westerrode, Seeburger See, Krebeck, Thiershäuser Teiche, Gillersheim, Lindau and from there to Northeim.
The return journey was extremely strenuous with wind force 5-6 because I had a headwind

It was a very pleasant tour through the Gillersheimer Forst. I got to know many beautiful new paths. That was great, it brought joy, yes... until the first strong rain front moved in. Luckily, I found good shelter under a blooming chestnut tree. Delicious Bratwürstchen and tolerable cake compensated
