The dirt part of the route was very nice and started just north of Momocastenango. Getting to Huehue was like a dream. Incredible panoramas. Photos cannot do it justice…

An “easy” bike Ride to Zunil and Aguas Amargas
Aguas Amargas is a hot spa close to Zunil, less famous than ‘Fuentes Georgina’ and cheaper.
The entrance is just 25q. It is also apparently possible to camp there or so I heard.

The road next to the old airport is completely broken right now they are doing some works and there are huge holes to be traversed on small paths next to the excavations and this goes on for a few km. If I knew before to leave I would have changed route. I had to hike a bike quite a few times. Angry
