Een mooie rustige en vrij gemakkelijke wandeling. Veel op asfalt, wat ik persoonlijk niet zo graag heb (te laat gezien). Vergezichten. We zijn op onze wandeling compleet uitgeregend geraakt maar werden wel beloond met het waterval op zijn mooist in de zomer denk ik. Toen het niet regende viel het op op het plateau dat er veel roofvogels zitten.

Good walking shoes and a walking stick are recommended, otherwise the walk is not super challenging. The inn at the pass is closed on Tuesdays. A good place to see whinchats, tree pipits and skylarks, also alpine flora starts there. A really diverse and beautiful walk.

This is a slightly adapted version of an existing walk, that follows in big part the coastal GR 120.
I feel that my adaptations do make it better, including the highlighted stairs, for example, which are really cool.

The start/finish point is at a large parking lot with fantastic views of the Santoire rock and La Roche Tuillière. Paid access, and overnight stays are available. On the way to the lake: beautiful views, skylarks, crossbills, and coal tits (almost everywhere on the plateau if you go in the morning
