One of seven walking routes labelled as 'Sid's Seven' starting at Sid's Piece - a community woodland in Stanton. This is the shortest, taking you around the perimeter. Over 100 different species of wildflower have been recorded and many different bird species.

Open countryside, green lanes and some country roads. Recommend walking boots after wer weather. Refreshments available at Wyken Vineyards Leaping Hare, and the on-site Woosters Bakers. Check opening times. Skylarks, Yellowhammers, hare and Roe deer frequently seen.

A varied walk circling one of West Suffolk's largest villages. There are two parking pads close to the large wooden gate to Sid's Piece. Refreshments can be found at Hillcrest Nurseries Farm Shop and Cafe, and also at Wyken Vineyards 'Leaping Hare'. You'll also find Wooster's Bakers here. See traces

One of seven routes starting and finishing at Sid's Piece, on the eastern side of Stanton. This route takes in former US air force housing, a good path running parallel to the main road, Stanton village centre, and the local beauty spot known as the Grundle. There are two parallel paths a short way up
