A Christmas holiday ride through the beautiful countryside in plenty of sunshine. It was still a bit chilly, though. Today I went all the way up to Veldenstein Castle for the first time. The castle gate was locked, however.

A windy, wooded Christmas walk. It's always nice to let your thoughts wander a bit in the woods on a day like this. A hazelnut spread tour in glorious sunshine. On the way back, I tried to treat myself to a bratwurst at the Fürth 'Christmas' market. In fact, there were only two stalls selling Christmas decorations and one selling candles. The bratwurst selection, however, was quite large, but I must have chosen the wrong one 🤓

Reason enough to brave the gloomy weather. This time not through the woods, but along the road to Lauf. I needed grip for the brakes

A short walk in the woods, since the rain is kindly holding off for a while. It was damper in the woods than expected. Checking the ice pond revealed a paper-thin layer of ice. Will the dredging at the top of the Tiergarten turn out to be what it looks like? If so, I certainly won't be going down there

A tour of the hidden settlements. In Nerreth, however, the Halloween decorations have already been packed away. We returned along the old canal in still pleasant autumn weather, where there weren't too many day-trippers.

A gravel ride via Hetzles to the hilltop above Effeltrich in still relatively mild autumn weather. It started to drizzle on and off. The poultry in Hetzles were still happily roaming around outside, enthusiastically playing hide-and-seek.
