The path begins in Kasern on a paved road to the Adleralm. This road is also good to ride on the bike, so you could park well at the Adler Alm and then continue hiking. The path leads past some alpine pastures, where you can also stop and on a beautiful path along the stream far into the farthest Ahrntal. In front you can see the so-called Birnlücke, a yoke above which one can go to Austria again. The ascent leads over the Birnlückenhütte and is quite steep. A total of
makes the valley a wonderful impression. We particularly liked the climb and the entire Lahner Alm. Very original.

The Leonardi Trail starts in St Jacob at the church. It is best to turn slightly to the left, then the climb begins relatively steep and then up above and through the forest along the slope into the valley. In many places, an artist has set up wooden figures depicting peasant life in the Alps. Well worth seeing. On the descent you can decide to go back to the village of St. Jakob on the so-called "Sonnenweg", or you can go down the street, passing the workshop of this artist and looking there. The path is not too demanding and good to master in any case easily.

Beautiful valley, from the top, free parking in Rein you go. Many way past, on the track is also the yoke reachable. From the Joch after 30 minutes first alp in Austria reachable. Tip: Take the bike to the Knuttenalm. From there continue on foot. On the way back you will be glad to not have to walk the long track down from the Knuttenalm.

The Kellerbauer Höhenweg is a great way and connects the Speikboden with the Chemnitz hut. The path offers a lot of views, also on the Dolomites and again in the right and left side valleys of the Ahrntal. The path is varied, however, from the Tristensee to the Chemnitz hut endangered by rockfall to tracks and huge rocks, over which one can climb more than walk, difficult. But in any case worthwhile. Only recommended.

First, the path begins in a comfortable way in Taufers and leads along the Ahr. Only at the lower parking lot to the so-called Wasserfallrunde it is full. From there, a path leads in succession to the three waterfalls, of which the highest is definitely the most spectacular. You have to be prepared that there are a lot of people on the way. From there, the trail continued high point there was a bottleneck at the starting point to the so-called flyliner, a train in which one is seated in a hanging belt on an overhead guide road in serpentines through the forest along the falls down to the bottom. Certainly a great thing. The cost of such a game is between 8 and 10 €. The path continued uphill towards Ahornbach, from where you have a good view of the valley in places. If you come on this marked way number 6 to the road through Hornbach, you have to keep left. The best way to actually go on the road.

The tour to Schönberg is definitely worthwhile as a summer tour, even if you go up a few stretches on driveways. You can go down in the village of Weißenbach, where there are also free parking spaces. There are also a number of small and steep forest trails, but they are neat abbreviations of the long hairpin bends of the driveway.
After about 1.5 hours you reach the Schönbergalm, which is quite new and attracts attention with many nice little details.
From there it is only a little further on a driveway, then you move on the typical mountain trails relatively steeply upwards. Shortly before the summit you have an exposed place, but it is well secured by a wire rope to touch and can be mastered by any halfway experienced hiker. You will be rewarded in any case with a great view of the entire upper Ahrntal and the surrounding nearer mountains. With good visibility you can see the Dolomites in the distance.

The climb begins at the church of Weißenbach on a driveway, which soon turns into a dirt road. How to reach after 30 minutes the Riesaalm, where you can stop. A worthwhile goal with small children. From there to the next higher Mitterbachalm, where real Almbetrieb takes place. No stop possible. There, the path ends and you follow a designated mountain path (No. 16). On floors and narrow paths, which are also besieged by cows, you can reach the Oberhütten. Old, partly dilapidated, but usable as a shelter, they lean against thick rocks. From there, one level higher you are in a basin, the so-called. Stockerboden at about 2000 meters altitude. If you follow the path, it goes steeply uphill left. On this way you reach the Stabler Höhenweg, which stretches along the Ahrntal for quite a while.
