It was a three-part day. First, we were in a small archaeological museum in Via Rosignano Marittimo. It shows the development from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages. It is really lovingly designed and worth a visit.

Wanderung zum Torre Spaccata und zum Eisessen nach Amendolara
Wir sind am Meer entlang zum Torre gelaufen. Da hat uns eine laue Brise begleitet. Der Weg nach Amendolara verlief durch Pfirsichplantagen und war eher windstill. Stadtrundgang in Santa Maria di Leuca dem südlichsten Punkt Apuliens
Da der Zeltplatz erst Nachmittags aufgemacht hat, haben wir uns den Hafen am südlichsten Zipfel von Apulien angeschaut. Die Hafenpromenade ist schön und die Aussicht auf die Küste und Grotten sehr schön. Man kann sich hier mit kleinen Booten an die Grotten fahren lassen.

Bucht der Türken – Muschelhöhle Runde von Alimini Laghi nach Otranto
Wir haben den Hinweg genossen, immer an der Küste entlang. So tolle Ausblicke auf die Buchten.... . In Otranto gab es dann einen Kaffee zur Stärkung 😉. Der Rückweg auf der Strasse war eher kein Highlight.... Morgen geht es über Pfingsten nach Gallipoli
