Ascent of Cold Pike, Pike of Blisco and Lingmell Fell
Wonderful days hiking. Weather a bit mixed so no views at the top of Cold Pike or Pike of Blisco. Really enjoyed Lingmell Fell and the 360 views from the top

Hike over Whin Rigg and Illgill Head
A lovely hike but sadly into the cloud at the top so no views over Wast Water. The ascent up via Miterdale was beautiful as was the descent down via Burnmoor Tarn.

Fairfield Horseshoe
Once the clouds had lifted the views were stunning. 8 Wainwrights bagged in one hike!

Hellvelyn summit via Striding Edge
I’ve been waiting several years for the ‘perfect’ weather opportunity to tackle the challenging Striding Edge route. Was not disappointed

This is a well marked route with some spectacular views. The route through the gorge required booking in advance (i will leave that till the next visit!) but you can make a great route without the gorge.
