We took the funi up to Mont Pèlerin from Vevey, if you are keen then you can also hike up...or start from Chexbres village and walk to Mont pelerin and then walk down to vevey. There were few cars and overall a peaceful walk through the countryside. The farm on the way even sells fresh milk and vegetables
