When you start to walk along Rio Fuengirola, make sure you CROSS to the other side of the river (i.e. in front of Hotel Myramar). We were warned off walking the side of the river nearest Dunnes as there is a gypsy camp there and we were told we would be attacked and robbed if we went that way.
