First walk of the year with the family. Stayed at some lovely pods in Troutbeck. Out early the saturday, walked up to Wenfell pass and then down to Ambleside, had a nice mooch about then skirted alongside lake Windermere back to Troutbeck and then a couple of beers at the Mortal Man and the Queens Head, both were lovely.

Quick walk around the estate. First time out in a long while. Was planning on much further but the rain came and put an end to that.
Hopefully another walk next weekend.

I have not been too good this year and have not managed to get out much. Finally made the effort to go for a hike up to the roaches with the wife. Nice little walk, on the ridge it was quite windy, once we walked back along the lower path it was lovely and sunny

First walk of the year! A little late than i wanted, but, other commitments kept getting in the way.
Walk this with a friend i hadnt seen for years and spent the entire walk catching up and having a good laugh, so no pictures im afraid.
More walks to come over the next few weeks, getting excited

Bit of a disaster! My hiking buddy slipped hurt his foot half way around the hike. I then had to leave him and complete the remainder of the tour to get to the car and then drive back to pick up.
Other than that it was a fairly decent hike. Some great views of abberley after a steep climber, majority
