Park at Car Park next to Vicars Bridge. Cross the bridge and head up the tarmac road towards Blairingone. Shortly turn north and east to walk alongside the River Devon, past the site of Boghall and eventually cross the very boggy area on a raised walkway to join the main road B913 towards Dollar and passing the local caravan park. Take the first left through Lower Mains and join the old railway line (now called the Devon Way) turning east passing the old Railway platform that was Dollar Station. At the end of the tarmac track, carry on the cinder track through Westerton, passed Linnbank Farm, through Pitgober, following the tarmac road back to Vicars bridge.

Start at any of the 3 car parks on Castle Road and head north close to Castle Campbell. Take the past Brewlands Cottage through the gate following the footpath (track), through a small gate to a junction of paths. Take the steep path northwards until you reach a gravel forestry road. Turn left and follow the track round Hillfoot Hill and descend to a path which returns you to your chosen car park. There are alternative paths through the now cleared woodland back to your car park. This walk can be extended to Glendevon via Maidens well to the Tormaukin Inn at Glendevon
