About Heiner

Today the route led me along the Weser to Bad Oeynhausen and from there via Herford to Bielefeld. From here you take the train back to Berlin.

From Bremen it goes along the Weser. A few detours were made and the goal was Stolzenau. The Weser was crossed many times. Unfortunately, it hides behind dikes and bushes in many places. The signs from the cycle path cannot always be found immediately due to the vegetation. Rest areas and weather huts invite you to linger.
A nice tour that I would like to recommend.

On the tour to Fürstenwalde, the route took us from the Wuhle to Koepenick, down Seelenbinder Strasse, past the Hirschgarten station to the Friedrichshagen station. From here continue on the Fürstenwalder Damm to Erkner. Through Erkner and on to Hohenbinde. At the Jägerbude campsite we crossed the A10 and came to Freienbrink. Past the large warehouse of EDEKA, Lidl and Knorr Bremse through the forest to the L38 which we followed to Hangelsberg.
In Hangelsberg we crossed the tracks at the train station and followed the forest path to FriedWald and on to Fürstenwalde. In Fürstenwalde we drove through the city park to the Fürstenwalder Spree in order to strengthen ourselves in the "Haus am Spreebogen".
After a very nice tour through Fürstenwalde and a visit to the grandchildren, we took the RE back.

Today we went to see the children in Zühlsdorf. I was lucky with the weather. It only started to rain when I arrived and it stayed dry on the way back.

Through the city to Tegel and back.Cyclists are traffic freaks!
The insults I had to endure just because I stopped at the red traffic lights on Boxhagener Str. And Frankfurter Allee reached their sad climax today.
Today's tour took me via Rummelsburg, Friedrichshain, Mitte, Gesundbrunnen, the Sprengelkietz, Rehberge to around the airport lake.We took a short break at the friend's and then we went through the Jungfernheide (forest), the Volkspark Jungfernheide, Charlottenburger Tor, through the large zoo, past the Victory Column and the Brandenburg Gate, via Unter den Linden and then on Holzmarktstraße back via Rummelsburg to Zoo.

Today the way led me over Hohenschönhausen, Malchow, Karow, Karower Teichen, over the A10, through the Bogenseekette, Schönerlinde, Schönwalde, Basdorf, Zühlsdorf to Wandlitz. On the way back I chose the route across the forest to Gorinsee, Hobrechtsfelde, Karow, Wartenberg to the zoo.

Today the way led me from the S-Bahn plant Schöneweide, through Niederschöneweide, Oberschöneweide, the Volkspark Wuhlheide, the allotment gardens (Prinzenviertel), at the very nice playground Traberweg to the Blockdammweg, over the Blockdammbrücke, the Aristotelessteig to Friedrichsfelde. A very varied hiking trail that for me, especially in the Volkspark, can see some buildings I have never seen before.

Today it was about the zoo on the northern site of the former Wuhlheide marshalling yard. Then around the Biesdorfer Baggersee, past the church to the castle park. From there to the Wuhletal hiking trail. On this past the Kienberg on the Ahrensfelder Berg with its 114m to the Ahrensfelde train station.

The 175 km on the Wall Trail were very varied. Although some sections are not so well signposted, the quality of the trails is very different and almost all dining options are closed, this is a tour that I can happily recommend.
The sections through the woods, even if there are sand, gravel and cobblestone here, can be tackled well. Definitely not suitable for racing bikes. The asphalt becomes extremely uneven in many places due to the roots. That's why comfortable cycling is the order of the day.
