On the fifth day we only planned a short stop in the small town of Idrija, as we had booked an apartment and wanted to take a half-day break. After coffee in the small town of Razdrto, we climbed 800 meters up to Nanos - at 1,260 meters, the first 1,000-meter peak on the Via Alpina. The way out of Idrija initially went steeply uphill for almost 600 meters on a narrow path in a beautiful forest and we were repeatedly rewarded with beautiful views. The sky kept clearing up and the sun shone up above. We passed several farms and small settlements. We had a beautiful panoramic view
