The castle was originally in front of the city and is surrounded by water on the castle island. There you will find the Pole Poppenspäler Museum with figures from all over the world. The annual crocus bloom in spring is famous when it blooms intensely purple in the castle park.

The castle in front of Husum is the only castle on the North Sea coast of Schleswig-Holstein. In Husum Castle you will find a museum with a roof gallery, Poppenspäler Museum, castle café, castle park and Duchess Garden as well as high-profile events.
The castle is located in the center of the city of Husum, just a few minutes' walk
