    Strausberger Platz with its two towers marks the beginning of the GDR boulevard Karl-Marx-Allee and its buildings in the sugar confectionery style.       Strausberger Platz is a large urban square in the Berlin district of Friedrichshain and marks the border with the Mitte district.
