Parque Hirsgarten

Villette Park owes its existence to the Zurich banker's son Heinrich Schultheiss-von-Meiss, who, as a member of the board of directors and major shareholder of the NOB (Swiss Norostbahn), was significantly involved in the land negotiations for the new Zurich-Lucerne railway connection and, on this occasion, a former farm on Lake Zug acquired and had a villa built there for himself. Schultheiss-von-Meiss cleverly used his connections and used the material that was removed from the church hill to build the railway line to expand his property. This resulted in a significantly larger seafront and an artificial small island. Both still make Villette Park very attractive today.

The beautiful complex serves as a local recreation area and is definitely worth a detour.

The restaurant Baumgarten near Immensee is beautifully situated. A visit there is always a pleasure. The staff is very friendly. Anyone who does not know Baumgarten has definitely missed one of the most beautiful spots in Central Switzerland. For me, always happy!

Beautiful park right on the lake with a view of the Rigi. There is also a small self-service restaurant and a seaside resort.
