Those who are not so good on foot can also reach the Weinrebenkapelle with the OeV. From Rotkreuz train station, take bus no. 51 to Hünenberg Chrützacher. From there the chapel can be reached in about 10 minutes. Wonderful view.

Beautiful flat hike from the Frauenthal through the forest. Short climb to Warth. Stop off at the Rest. Warth or Rössli. Via St. Wolfgang back through the forest past the Brickworks Museum.

The settlement grew up around the church of St. Wolfgang. It is located on the medieval road from Zurich to Lucerne. The slope on which it stands is also called Todtenhalden (alternative spelling Tottenhalden). The settlement was founded by the city of Zug, which built a church here between 1473 and 1475. A hamlet with two inns and a few farms developed around the church and its benefice. This settlement was named St. Wolfgang because the church is dedicated to Saint Wolfgang of Regensburg. An inn near St. Wolfgang is mentioned as early as the first Central Swiss shooting festival in 1507. In the 16th century, St. Wolfgang was a meeting place for conspiring mercenaries on several occasions. Until the 19th century, the church was also a local place of pilgrimage. The church and four houses were part of the municipality of Zug until 1934 - as an enclave.
