    The beautiful Ida ferry runs roughly every hour between Bogø and Stubbekøbing in summer between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Out of season only between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m.

    A one-way trip costs DKK 35 for an adult and DKK 55 for a bike. You have to buy the tickets from the machine beforehand. He doesn't take cash.

                                  The ferry was built in 1958/59 at Stege Shipyard. At its launch, the ferry was named IDA after the daughter of District Administrator Wechselmann in Præstø. IDA was once a very typical Danish ferry, but today it is one of the few wooden ferries still operating in regular service. IDA was primarily built using wood from the forests on Møn. Below deck, there is a passenger cabin with leather-covered sofas that can accommodate approximately 50 passengers. The cabin is largely the same as it was when the ship was built. There is also a small galley for the crew, in the same style as the passenger cabin.
