    The Sentiero delle Creste del Monte Barro is a panoramic hiking trail that connects the three main peaks of Monte Barro, located in the province of Lecco, in the Lombardy Prealps. This trail is particularly appreciated for the beauty of the panoramas it offers, with spectacular views of the San Martino Valley, Lake Lecco, Lake Como and the surrounding mountains, such as Monte Resegone and the Grigne.

    The Sentiero delle Creste runs along the crests of Monte Barro, passing through the Primo Corno, Secondo Corno and Terzo Corno, and finally reaching the top of Monte Barro. The trail is quite challenging and suitable for hikers with good physical preparation, as it has steep sections and some rocky passages. However, the effort is amply rewarded by the panoramic view and the natural beauty of the place.

    The trail generally starts from Galbiate or Civate, crossing beech forests and clearings, with some more exposed sections that offer breathtaking views. Along the route there are also panoramic points that allow you to stop and admire the surrounding landscape.

    The Sentiero delle Creste is particularly recommended in spring and autumn, when the climate is ideal for hiking and the surrounding vegetation is at its most beautiful.
