The Württemberg is a former paddle steamer that has been converted into a ship museum in Magdeburg. The Württemberg was built in 1908/1909 in the Roßlauer shipyard Gebrüder Sachsenberg.

The ship was used on the Elbe for the Neue Deutsch-Böhmische Elbschiffahrt AG Dresden. During the Second World War, the Württemberg was damaged in a low-flying attack near Zehren. The ship suffered further damage when a fire broke out on the forecastle in the Dresden-Laubegast shipyard. Repaired again, it was used from 1946 to April 30, 1974 for the German Shipping and Handling Operations Center (DSU) and its legal successor, the VEB Deutsche Binnenreederei der DDR.

In December 1974, when the Württemberg was flooded, it was towed onto the Elbe meadows in front of the Magdeburg town hall on the Rotehorn Island. It was then converted into a museum. A restaurant was also opened.

After the flood of 2002, in which the interior was damaged by the water, the museum ship and the restaurant have been open again since October 2006 after a complete interior renovation.
