An interesting stretch of trail, which, due to its construction and the subsoil, resembles a former military road. The terrain generally appears to be constantly maintained, as gravel has been piled up in some places, or tree trunks lying across the path have been cleared away. The ascent from the Soca Valley initially involves a long gravel section, deep in places and eroded by rain, making it a bit tricky, especially in the hairpin bends. Towards the middle of the trail, the ground becomes harder and is partially overgrown with grass. At the top, it flattens out and cycles like a normal forest road. All in all, there are many different sections, many of which lead directly alongside the karst mountains. Some streams must be crossed over old bridges, and a few tree trunks lie across the path… some places are truly magical. Tip: cycle from the bottom to the top!
