This small church, little more than a chapel, is located in the town of Costa, at the beginning of the CAI 492 path which leads to Monte Punta and the nearby Mas de Sabe. While not possessing a particular artistic value, it is distinguished by the harmonious simplicity of the whole and the characteristic wooden bell tower. Well inserted between the characteristic tabià and the houses of the 19th-20th century "refabrication", it was built in 1929 (and renovated in 1944) in place of the original Marian oratory which was destroyed in a fire in the early 1900s. It is said that the curious dedication to San Longino derives from this fire, as a thank you for having saved an elderly woman from the village by warning her of the danger. Since then the saint has been particularly revered in this village, so much so that he has become its patron saint. As singular as it is mysterious figure, Longinus was the Roman soldier who pierced the side of Christ on the cross with a spear and who subsequently converted to Christianity. He is depicted in a statue placed on the altar.
