Loipe Eibenstock

The seven-kilometre-long Eibenstock trail takes you up the Wintergrün and down again. The medium-difficult route is classic and also groomed for skating. The entrance to the trail is at the end of Eibenstock in the direction of Wildenthal. At the beginning you walk on a level path over an open meadow landscape. If you want to warm up a bit for the following ascent, you can do a few more loops on the sun trail here. The route then takes you into the forest, where the climb begins. Halfway through you have reached the highest point of the trail at 862 meters.

Arrived at the mountain station of the Skiarena Eibenstock, you can warm up or take a break if you want to walk back the same way. Are the seven kilometers enough for today? Then you can - depending on your skiing ability - also drive down the slope into the valley (please only on the side). After one kilometer via the Hüblerweg you will reach the trail parking lot again, your starting point.
