The full-rigged ship "Bragdø" ran aground and sank on November 1, 1921.
Norway's largest three-master, the people's ship "Bragdø" from Kristianssand, ran aground here in a hurricane on November 1, 1921. The ship, sailing under ballast, had officers from his shipping company on board. It was pushed mercilessly towards the land by the storm until it ran aground.
