The Buchackeralm is a perfect rest stop after a hike to the Hundalm Ice Cave. You can then rest your legs on the sun terrace and enjoy the magnificent view with a slice of cake.

The hut is open daily from mid-May to October. It is closed only on Mondays.

You can even stay overnight in cozy rooms at this rustic alpine hut. More information at buchackeralm.at.

On the Buchacker Alm it's great to rest and spend the night ... after renovation, you can enjoy delicious coffee and cake or something good from the kitchen in the cozy guest room or on the sun terrace with a wonderful panoramic view of the Inn Valley ... the Adlerfrühstück is rich and recommendable. The alp can be reached on foot or by bike from May to November. It is also located on the Adlerweg (this long-distance hiking trail crosses Tyrol from east to west for a little over 400 km) ... nearby is the Hundalm Eis- and Dripstone cave, which can be visited only with a guide.

There have been new tenants since April 2022.

These dedicated hosts have set themselves the goal of bringing a touch of luxury to the alpine pasture. There are a total of 19 beds, divided into rooms for 2, 3, 5, and 6 people. All beds are freshly made, and each guest receives a towel.

Dinner features the finest Tyrolean specialties.

Tuesdays are the day of rest.
