      Since March 2021, new windows have been installed in the church. Three by the famous artist Richter, 63 by Mahbuba Elham Maqsoodi (a German-Afghan artist). The church is bathed in beautiful light through these windows. They are also very different from anything you have seen before. Unfortunately, we found out too late how special all this was. And we really enjoyed the church, the silence and the vespers service, but we didn't think enough about all the beauty of those windows. Please visit again.
      If you are passing through, you can spend the night in the Lobia guest house. But there are plenty of hotels throughout Tholey. If you walk a pilgrimage path, a stamp can be obtained from one of the brothers or the Abbot.

I can only recommend everyone to take a closer look. Unfortunately, there is no information material about the windows and their creators / artists in the church.
