The Henne Mølle Å (stream by the mill in Henne) is located south of Henne Strand and is subject to seasonal changes. Wind and weather constantly change the area around Henne Mølle Å, so that the peaceful little river can quickly turn into a raging river.
The Henne Mølle Å comes from Filsø and winds its way to the sea. Two bridges lead over Henne Mølle Å before it disappears into the sea. The one bridge at Henne Mølle Badehotel was renovated just a few years ago so that it can withstand today's weather fluctuations and changes in Henne Mølle Å. However, Henne Mølle Å has not always been as it is now, because from the bridge on Porsmosevej to Filsø, the river was diverted into a canal at an early stage so that the water could be used better.
Today there is speculation as to whether the river should be returned to its original riverbed - to the benefit of flora and fauna.
