Worth seeing! The Leuchtenburg lies high above the Saale valley. It grants a wide all-round view from the Harz to the Thuringian Forest. Within its castle walls it houses a museum on the subject of Thuringian porcelain and its 800-year history. The porcelain town of Kahla, which lies at the foot of the castle, impresses with its historic city center.
