Esta parte de 440 quilômetros do famoso Caminho de Santiago leva você do Lago Constança, atravessando a Suíça até Genebra. O caminho de peregrinação é rodeado por picos alpinos, lagos brilhantes e edifícios impressionantes.
Pequenas capelas, igrejas imponentes e vilas tranquilas alinham-se umas após as outras como um colar de pérolas. Entre elas, você encontrará cidades interessantes, como Lausanne, pontilhadas com pontos turísticos. Os amantes da natureza não se decepcionarão nas florestas tranquilas e inúmeros lagos. As 19 etapas têm comprimentos variados, começando e terminando em vilas ou cidades com uma boa variedade de acomodação.
A Via Jacobi começa em Rorschach nas margens do Lago Constança. Você caminhará pela fantástica região dos lagos ao sul de Zurique para chegar a Einsiedeln, onde encontrará um mosteiro famoso como local de peregrinação. Em seguida, você encontrará os vales idílicos e os picos impressionantes dos Alpes suíços. Você cruzará o Brünigpass; a mais de 1000 metros (3830 pés) as panorâmicas aqui são espetaculares. De Friburgo, a Via Jacobi conduz pela Suíça francófona. A secção para Lausanne leva você através de uma paisagem mediterrânica montanhosa ladeada por vinhas. As últimas três etapas da Via Jacobi seguem as margens do Lago Genebra, antes de terminar na cidade vibrante de Genebra.
