No verão de 2022, eu embarquei em uma turnê de ciclismo de dois meses com Amandine e nossa filha, Lou. Vimos todo tipo de coisas ao longo do caminho em nossas bicicletas: paisagens deslumbrantes, estradas bonitas, estradas menos agradáveis e muita natureza. Chamamos esta viagem de 'La Joyeuse Vadrouille'. Em francês, uma 'vadrouille' é uma caminhada ou uma excursão que geralmente não tem um destino específico.Acamparamos em jardins, muitas vezes em casas de estranhos, e estávamos gratos por poder usar seus banheiros e salas de estar. Também dormimos em casas de amigos. Algumas dessas pessoas nos deram presentes. Alguns encontros foram inesperados. Ter dois anos não significa que você não possa viajar de bicicleta. E viajar não significa que não queiramos falar com a vovó e o vovô.Tivemos que ser criativos para nos manter ocupados quando chovia ou durante as ondas de calor, pois o clima no verão de 2022 foi extremo. Experimentamos coisas novas para que Lou pudesse desfrutar da viagem. Havia risos e lágrimas. Tivemos uma criança para nos ajudar com as compras. Conhecemos cachorros, galinhas e até vacas voadoras.Foi uma aventura e um jogo interminável! E nossa filha também fez alguns conhecimentos de férias.Não nos enganemos, também houve dificuldades. Além das subidas e discussões, houve dias em que não tínhamos vontade de andar de bicicleta. Mas sempre houve surpresas também. Nos acostumamos a dormir ao ar livre. Apesar de todas as dificuldades, nos divertimos muito por dois meses e conhecemos o mundo através de grandes pessoas.Esta Coleção é baseada no filme documentário que fiz sobre a viagem.
