After a doctor's appointment in Herrenberg, I tacked on a short hike. I walked along Bahnhofstraße, under the tracks at the train station, and explored the southwestern part of Herrenberg. It was really enjoyable because it's mostly locals who are out on foot.

Invited to a 40th birthday party 🎂 ☕️ in Merklingen this afternoon.

We went on a short but lovely hike with Daniela @Daniela E. and @Wilfried E. 😘 from the Naturfreundehaus (Friends of Nature House) in Herrenberg, past the Schönbuch Tower and through the A81 tunnel, to the Jahnhütte (Jahn Hut), and then back to the Christmas village at the Naturfreundehaus.

We took advantage of the warming sun 🌞 for a hike 🥾🥾🎒 through Horb am Neckar. It's simply beautiful there with the Neckar River and the millrace, with its many benches right by the water.
Komoot didn't stop because we only had our snack break 🥪 at the very end, on a bench by the Neckar.

A quick visit to the doctor in Nufringen. After another Komoot update, a short (test) hike from the parking lot at the Nufringen cemetery. I paused twice. Once with the pause button pressed, and at the end without pausing.
