the Baumgartenschneid was Ludwig Thoma's favorite summit.
Tip: the crossing from the Alpbachtal (Sagfleckl) past the Baumgartenalm to the summit and past the Riedersteinkircherl to the mountain inn Galaun. A wonderful, varied mountain hike in the Tegernsee mountains with fantastic views.
