The Late Roman Fort Tasgetium is a significant historical site located at 413 metres elevation, spanning the municipalities of Eschenz in the canton of Thurgau and Stein am Rhein in the canton of Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Ruiny dawnego kastelu Tasgetium, którego plan jest wciąż w dużej mierze rozpoznawalny, znajdują się w lewobrzeżnej części Stein am Rhein, przed Brugg. Kastel został zbudowany w wyniku najazdów Alemanów krótko przed 300 rokiem n.e. i był częścią rozległego systemu obronnego. Jego wymiary (88 x 91 metrów) można dziś określić na podstawie murów odrestaurowanych w 1900 i 1911 roku. Nie wiadomo, kiedy zrezygnowano z obrony granicy. W konsekwencji wewnątrz murów powstała osada alemańska. Pierwszy budynek kościelny (dzisiejszy kościół z XII-XVI wieku) pochodzi z VI wieku.
