Be sure to check out this Gothic church in Asse dedicated to Saint Martin. The saint, known for his generosity, can also be found on the neo-Gothic main altar and in some other sculptures.

The oldest parts of this church date back to the 12th century. Look at the two crosses, which are said to have miraculous powers, admire the church treasury and the particularly beautiful stained glass windows.

The Christmas spirit will surround you when you look at the picture "Adoration of the Magi" from the 17th century - not only impressive on Epiphany on January 6th.

Oriented pseudo-basilica in Gothic style, built in its core until the beginning of the thirteenth century, but continuously renovated, enlarged and embellished over the centuries. Originally surrounded by a cemetery, which is now largely used as a parking space, partly as a green zone. The cemetery was closed in 1944 and transferred to the Mollemseweg. The iron fences are still visible in old photos, as are the checkered pillars with crowning decorative vases on Kerkstraat. (Pasar)
