It's a great destination for families, nature lovers, and anyone with a passion for stones and gardens.

​The Wolkenburg Palace Park is a true gem in Saxony, picturesquely situated on a rocky outcrop high above the Zwickauer Mulde River. It is not only a green oasis, but also a place with a fascinating history and unique features.

Mildenstein Castle sits majestically on a rocky outcrop above the town of Leisnig in Saxony. With a history spanning almost 1,000 years, it is one of the oldest and most historically significant castle complexes in the Free State of Saxony.

I love strolling through this park, especially now when the azaleas and rhododendrons are in bloom.

After the snowdrops were somewhat hidden in the Polenz Valley, I drove a little further to Langenwolfsdorf. Here, the upper village near RATAGS Arts and Crafts is full of things. I took the opportunity to visit the new exhibition about the Sandman and his friends.

Sunshine and a snowy landscape are the ideal conditions for a walk through the park. The choice fell on the Fürst-Pückler-Park in Bad Muskau.
