Drove to Wachendorf today. Parked at the cemetery. Then I headed towards the chapel on forest paths. It appears as if out of nowhere. Beautiful little chapel ⛪🌲 Along the Starzel river, over the blue bridge 🌉 past a fish ladder, on to Bierlingen. From there, it's a steep and long climb back through

Since my walking group is taking a three-week Christmas break 🎄, I went out on my own today! I started from home and walked over the Binsenbol. It was simply wonderful today. You could almost think it was spring 😀. I walked as far as Frommern, then back, and home again via the forest nature trail.

Today we walked the Frommern Christmas Trail 🎄🎁. Lots of stations this year. Great! We also took two detours, one towards Zillhausen and one towards Streichener Sträßle. The paths were very dirty. Oh well, time to clean our shoes and plan the next hike 😉

Today we had our annual end-of-year walk for 2025. A walk through the city, as is customary. Afterwards, we went to the Stadtmühle (Georgian cuisine) for dinner. 🥓🌮 See you again in 2026! 😁👋🏽👋🏽

Today, on St. Nicholas Day 🤶🏻, we went to Owingen. A short walk through the village and then up to a parking lot. The path was almost entirely through the forest 🌲🌳 Good paths with little incline.

Away from the Christmas markets 🎁🎄, we started at the water lily garden. The sunbeams 🌞
played with the rising mist in the forest. Magnificent!! 😁 An inconspicuous path leads to the Ror castle ruins. There's not much left to see.

Today we drove to the reservoir in Schömberg. The reservoir is already partially frozen. Probably just a thin layer though 😬 We didn't test it 😉 From there we headed towards Ratshausen.
