The whole way to the Arvigrat is a very nice one. The Arvigrat leads along the border of the cantons of Nidwalden and Obwalden. The whole way is a nice tightrope walk, the way has only occasionally slightly narrower passages on and therefore requires a little surefootedness and a certain fear of heights, but everything in a very normal context. Starting from the Ächerli, the path leads first through wooded terrain, with the steady slope towards the highest point of the Arvigrat the view increases more and more and you enjoy a fantastic view. A breathtaking mountain panorama opens up fabulous views of the Engelberg and Sarnera valleys, as well as the Nidwaldner, Engelberger and Obwaldner summits, far into the Bernese and Vaud Alps and even into the Jura.
