You can see the tower from the bike path.
Unfortunately, a visit to this old castle is not permitted!
This is privately owned and the landlady asks you to leave the property immediately, as I was able to experience myself!
Nevertheless, I would like to present my pictures here as a highlight.

Wildthurn Castle is located southeast of the city on the way to Vilstal. The dominant keep with the battlements is an architectural monument from the Romanesque period and was originally a pure tower for the fabled knight Waller of Wildthurn, who used the tower as a robber baron's nest. The tower room on the 4th floor contains 13 wall niches and served as a knight's hall. He is because of dilapidation not to be visited.
