At first glance, the bridge looks pretty worn out, but it is over 100 years old and has an interesting history.

The Bockerl Bridge over the Isar in Landau, which was later completed in 1903, was the longest self-supporting steel bridge in Bavaria at the time. It was built especially for the railway line and is now a listed building.
The Bockerl Bridge consists of a box bridge made of mild steel on a concrete substructure, two five- or two-arch stamped concrete bridges and an iron pedestal arch bridge, connected by a route on the dam.
