Majbølle mill
In 1612 the first mill was built. This was a "stub mill" which was in operation until 1896. In this 284 years several major repairs were carried out and the owners changed more often.
In 1896, the mill was dismantled and replaced by an effectively working "Holland mill".
After the Second World War in 1945, it became unproductive, since more modern machines had a greater power.

In 1982, the last active miller family Grethe and Gunnar Rasmussen transferred the mill of the "Majbølle Møllelaug" with the condition to preserve it.
Until 1989, the mill was restored and the inauguration took place.
An exhibition on the second floor depicts the history of the renovation.
The Kornmagazin is used as a trip and meeting place.
In the anteroom changing exhibitions take place.

"Majbølle Møllelaug" is an independent institution, which alone is responsible for the condition and preservation of the mill.
The work is done by volunteers.
The donation of the public is used exclusively for the preservation of the mill.
