            The hanging bridge in the Hag nature reserve is located adjacent to the old town of Hirschberg, which is located in the Thuringian Slate Mountains Upper Saale Nature Park region. The hanging bridge, a steel structure anchored in the rock, is the quickest way to get from Hirschberg's old town to the idyllic Hag.
            The Hag, the wooded rock face, stretches from the steep rock of the Lohberg over the castle terrace on the slopes of the Saale.
            It was a unique mixture of deciduous and coniferous forest.
            The Hag was already a popular excursion destination in the 1920s and 1930s and is still a popular destination for the people of Hirschberg and their guests today thanks to the new jungle path.

              The footbridge is hung directly on the rock, well worth seeing and continues to the Saalebänk and the jungle path to the Saalesteg, which unfortunately was destroyed by the floods. IMPORTANT SAALESTEG LOCKED, NOT ACCESSIBLE !!!

                Definitely worth a visit!

                Tip: The suspension bridge on Kobersfelden is certainly just as beautiful (hike Bleilochtalsperre, e.g. from the barrier wall to the ice bridge near Burgk)
