the Kahltal, from the source at the Bamberger Mühle to the mouth, is very easy to navigate. The cycle path is also suitable for families. There are places to stop for refreshments and lots of nature along the way.

A very varied cycle path that winds through the Kahler Valley past meadows, fields, and small woods, crosses the single-track Kahlgrund Railway a few times, and leads through many sleepy little villages.
Near Schöllkrippen, a detour to Sommerkahl to see the Forellen-Röll (Forellen-Röll) and the "Grube Wilhelmina" copper mine is worthwhile. A tour of the mine isn't available every day, so check it out beforehand: bergwerk-im-spessart.de
