The hut serves as a logistical base for the renowned 'Trofeo Parravicini,' an international ski mountaineering competition held annually in April. Can I reach Rifugio Fratelli Calvi using public transport?

While Carona is the primary access point, direct public transport options specifically to the trailhead for Rifugio Fratelli Calvi can be limited. Generally, you would need to reach Carona via local bus services, often connecting from larger towns in the Val Brembana area, such as Piazza Brembana. It's recommended to check local bus schedules in advance, especially for weekend or off-season travel, as services may be infrequent.
