The castle is a water complex with a stately manor house with 18th-century quarry stone masonry and an inner fore-castle with a farmyard from the 19th century with a ruined church. From the outer bailey only remains of walls and towers are preserved. The castle's inner buildings are built on 13th-century turreted walls. The medieval main castle bears the castle from the 17th century on its wall.
