The hut is also easy to reach for hikers who are not afraid of heights and thus offers the opportunity to explore at least part of the Sella massif. The hut is quite modern and offers space for many hikers. The breakfast is a bit poor by German standards, but you don't have to go hungry.

The Boè refuge stands at 2873 meters on Col Toron and is easily reachable from Sass Pordoi along path no. 627 through a landscape of lunar charm.
Between 2018 and 2021, the Boé Refuge underwent a major restoration and expansion project.
Due to the architectural and technological solutions adopted, it is today one of the flagships of the Sat (Società Alpinisti Tridentini) which owns it.

Nestled among the peaks of the Sella Group, at the intersection of numerous hiking trails, lies this refuge, which has recently been significantly modernized and expanded. It is only accessible on foot. The nearest cable car is at Rifugio Maria on the Sasso Pordoi, which leads from the Pordoi Pass. From there, it's about an hour's walk to the refuge. Some sections require surefootedness. With a bit of luck, you might spot ibex along the way. The refuge offers rustic food and drinks (difficult for vegans) and ample overnight accommodations. Italian and English are spoken (German may be available).
