View of the hut house (built in 1837) on the area of the Hörnig shaft of the pit "Hilarious instructions including Reußen". The pit has been known since the beginning of the 16th century. It was consolidated in 1850 with the pits “Sonnenwirbel including Holewein” and “Matthias Fundgrube” to form “Einigkeit Fundgrube”. At this time, the ore in the pits had already steadily decreased, so that mining ended in 1895. Since 1931, part of the hut house has been used as a museum. The whole building has served as a mining museum since the late 1990s.
