A silent reminder of the German past of Loučná pod Klínovcem, formerly known as Böhmisch Wiesenthal, is the cemetery overlooking the valley of the border stream Polawa (Pöhlbach) and, on the opposite side, the spa town of Oberwiesenthal and the Fichtelberg mountain. A settlement was probably established here as early as the 14th century; Wiesenthal was first mentioned in 1431 as the property of the Lords of Schönburg. In 1525, the border between the Lordship of Schönburg and the Kingdom of Bohemia was established along the Pöhlbach. Since then, Böhmisch Wiesenthal has been Bohemian, despite its population being almost exclusively of German descent. In 1939, Böhmisch Wiesenthal had 1,231 inhabitants. After the Second World War, the German population was expelled. Today, fewer than 100 people live here.

The Sudeten German population is buried here. Many come here looking for clues about relatives. Some of the graves are well taken care of by us, but some have been damaged in order to secure souvenirs.

The cemetery is well maintained and is still in use. Unfortunately, the inscriptions are missing from many gravestones, and some have also fallen over. The Keilbergwirt from the 1930s also found his last resting place here. In front of the cemetery is a row of trees, each with a name, along with an information board.
