The Udenheim bell tower: after the Protestant schoolhouse, on which there was a turret with two bells, was sold and the wooden emergency tower was in need of renovation, the local council began in 1860 to build a massive simultaneous bell tower
thinking about the police and church service bells.
The estimated cost was 1,400 guilders, financed by the church and school building fund with 800 guilders and 300 guilders each from the Protestant and Catholic parishes.
The negotiations proved extremely difficult and dragged on for almost 15 years.
It was not until the end of 1873 that the Protestant parish bought a 20.6 m2 square for 58 guilders and 48 Kreutzers. In 1874/75 she built a stone bell tower for 8,283 guilders and 10 Kreutzers and since then has received 200 DM / 102.76 € annually from the local community for the police bell. The Udenheimer Glocjenturm
Today there are two bells hanging in the tower that call for the service of the Protestant parish and ring at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and after work.
