Lake Nero is an artificial lake, the largest of the 5 lakes in Valgoglio. Located at 2,000 meters above sea level, it takes its name from its dark waters due to the depth and reflection of the mountains. Home to a dam managed by Enel, it can be reached via the path that starts from the Bortolotti di Valgoglio hamlet.
